9:00 am Meet in the Lobby for the Harmony Limousine Bus

Travel to Country Corner Gift Shop Mall – we are returning to this fabulous craft mall – they are ready to serve us!

11:30 am Luncheon at The Inn at 835, a historic Springfield Landmark — The Inn was designed during the Arts and Crafts Movement by one of the area’s leading architects, George Helmle, for Miss Bell Miller, a turn-of-the-century local businesswoman and florist to Springfield’s high society.  The building was one of Springfield’s premier residences, with airy verandahs, exquisite oak detailing, and massive fireplaces to warm the heart. Situated on a corner, near the neighborhood once termed “Aristocracy Hill”, the building’s simple, dignified exterior design appealed to a refined sense of taste. This luxury apartment building is now the Inn at 835.

1:00 pm Tour the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception – this restoration project is amazing!

2:45 pm Tour the Vachel Lindsay Home – Poet Vachel Lindsay’s home is newly restored. Located down the street from the Cathedral, we will visit this site before returning to the hotel.

3:30 pm Board the bus to return to the hotel and prepare for the Operator of the Year Celebration

6:30 pm Meet for cocktails before the Operator of the Year Celebration, which begins at 7:00 pm in the ballroom.  After the celebration, enjoy Casino Night, a Las Vegas-style get away in the Crowne Ballroom.
